I have very slowly been adding vintage supplies & a couple of new pieces of work to my Etsy shop. I have such a lot of vintage bits & bobs hanging around my work area stuffed in draws and boxes so thought it was probably about time I shared a few more things with you. Leafless Trees" November is usually cold and gray...but think of "you are taking a walk early morning and you can hear the wind between the tree branches and feel the cold on your cheeks... you're NOT cold because you are wearing your favorite thick wool cardigan...All of a sudden, the comfort smell of wood burning in chimneys reaches you and you take everything in...All your senses are fully awake...You happily remind yourself how wonderful it is going to be at home sitting by the fireplace with a nice cup of tea, coffee or coco!"

Childhood - Mixed media block canvas

I loved creating this canvas it was so much fun working with bees wax melted & applied in thin layers so you still get the underlying image coming through.

I added a piece of vintage lace, a selection of buttons, small aged tags and an old saftey pin.

I was really pleased when I sold this canvas on Etsy at the beginning of this week!
